My first travel to Los Queñes

I know that I'm not really good at the taking and editing of photography. In fact, I spent a lot of time deciding to pick a photo to use in this blog. Whatever, I tried to do my best and I chose this one.

I remember that day it was quite hot. That happened in my last holidays in the past summer and I went with my mom to my uncles' house and we went to Los Queñes' long river. After that we arrived at the river we stopped in front of a series of giant statues. I took this photo at the bottom of one of the statues.

In this picture, you can see two workers in a monolith, the first one looking at the crop and the other one looking at the first one, and I like it because I feel a big visual strain to the top side of the picture, with the contrast of light-dark looks very amazing, at least I think so. 

Peaky Blinders: Kings of Birmingham.

For me, this blog was the most difficult to do because I had to decide one series or movie between many options I like. However, I pick one, this one is Peaky Blinders. This series was written and directed by Steven Knight in 2013 to the present, one year after the launch of their sixth season.

The series is about Shelby's gangster family, a gypsy family set in 1919 Birmingham, England. They're Molly and her 4 nephews called Arthur, John, Finn, and Thomas, this last one is the leader of the gang.

This series is set after the finisht of First World War, They direct a big horse betting shop in the city. Shelby's ambition for power pays the attention of other dangerous gangs and the royal Irish police, led by Winston Churchill from Belfast.

 

I really recommend this series, because has a really good setting, drama, and script. I remember when I saw the first Chapter Posted on Netflix. I love instantly, the mix of music and ocher colors make you feel that you are there, in front of everything that happens.

What is my favourite piece of technology?

To be honest, It wasn't a hard decision because for as long as I can remember I've used the computer.
 I had my first computer in 2008 and It was a laptop, in these times I used the laptop to play Bomberman, Starcraft and worms.

Personally, I always liked desktop computers, until I started studying at FAU, because I can't carry the desktop computer to the university and this was a big problem for me. That's why I decided to save money with my mom to buy me a laptop, that laptop is the one I'm using right now to write in this blog.

I use my laptop for everything, I listen to music, write, watch videos on Youtube, and to do my homework, But what I enjoy the most, is using It to play video games. During quarantine the truth I've occupied it for my homework more than to play.

I really love to use my laptop but I never thought I will spend 10-12 hours per day in classes and works for the university, It is very much time! Now if I didn't have the computer I wouldn't know what to do, literally, it's my tool to do everything.

Why I want to be a architect?

That was the question that I required to answer in 2015 before I decided to study architecture I really wanted to be Detective or Scientist because I saw too much Detective Connan and Dexter and I dreamed to be like them.

When time passed I began to note that I was interested in philosophy and psychoanalysis and yeah...That was a very curious change of career, This desire began since I met Ortega-Gasset and his concept of Catharsis to heal hysteria. On the other hand, I had the option to study arts because I liked to draw and do molding about nature because for as long as I can remember, I have loved the trees and plants for their colors and shapes.

That was a very hard decision to make. After in 2015 I first hear the word landscaping and I was astonished when I understood that it was, That was perfect, I would help the people and nature at the same time! Now I only focus on graduation in Architecture to start to study with everything about landscaping and vegetation (botanic in this case) because I think green architecture is the future.

Hello everyone! My name is Francisco Esteban Luco Rojas. but all call me Luco because it is short than Francisco.

 I  was born in Santiago in 2000 in the Hospital San Borjas. I spent half of my childhood in Curicó and the rest in Santiago.

My father was a seller, but he died 3 years ago because he was sick, and my mother is a housewife. I live with her and my brother's family. We have three kittens and their names are Copper, Orion and the last one doesn't have a name yet.

I remember that I changed schools very quite

until I started studying in high school in the LNM.

Now. I want to graduate in architecture and then study botany to learn more about plants because I dream to work with green areas.

I like to see Netflix's series like Defenders, The Alienist, or Peaky Blinders also I like to play video games and drawing in black style.
